The aim of this course is to equip you with the theoretical knowledge, skills and confidence you need to deal with paediatric first aid situations. It covers key topics including: roles & responsibilities of a paediatric first aid, assessing a situation, basic Life Support, shock, fractures, bleeding and a range of other conditions.
Paediatric first aid is a skill that would be useful for anyone that works with children and infants. This includes those working in nursery, school and pre-school environments, as well as professional childminders, club leaders and sports coaches.
Please note: If you are looking to become a qualified Paediatric First Aider an additional practical training course is required to meet legislative requirements.
Candidates will gain theoretical knowledge, skills and confidence needed to deal with paediatric first aid situations. It covers key topics including: roles & responsibilities of a paediatric first aid, assessing a situation, basic Life Support, shock, fractures, bleeding and a range of other conditions.
Learners must complete each module successfully at a pass rate of 100%.
Subject to the satisfactory completion of this Paediatric First Aid online training course, learners are given access to an electronic certificate of completion (in PDF format), which they are able to print and display.
